LATEST INFO 11/12/09 - You may notice that the band is now reduced to three members. Sadly Rob (bass and keyboards) who was with us for over three years has decided to leave the band, as has Dave (EMOE) East (Lead Vocals) who was only with us for around six months or so. We wish them well for the future and thank then for their immense contribution to KMJ's success.

That leaves KMJ on the look out for BASS and KEYBOARDS (initially) in order to honour up coming gigs for next year, so if there any musicians out their who like the look of what we do, then please get in touch through the website or direct to Brian at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Story Behind The Band Name

Kiss Me, Judas is the title of a modern American noir thriller written by Will Christopher Baer. It is based on the urban legend about a travelling man who goes to sleep one night then wakes in the morning to find that one of his kidney’s has been harvested.

Baer takes the legend one step further by introducing us to a disgraced cop, Phineas Poe, who after his release from a psychiatric hospital, meets up with a beautiful woman in a hotel bar. She is wearing a highly revealing red dress and has a “body like a knife.” Phineas pays her $200 and takes her to his room.

The following morning he wakes up in a bathtub full of melting ice, with fresh blood on his fingers and staples in his side. A note has been left…”if you want to live, call 911.” And so he sets out on a dangerous journey of revenge.

Will Christopher Baer created a masterpiece of modern noir with Kiss Me, Judas. It is a deep, dark unravelling journey fuelled by booze, drugs, sex, violence, corruption, murder and rock ‘n’ roll.

Seemed like a good idea for a band name.
